Privacy Policy & Terms of Service
This page sets out both our Privacy Policy — how iWatchRepair collects,
uses and protects your information — and our Terms & Conditions for the
repair services we provide. By using our website or placing an order with us, you agree to
both.
At iWatchRepair we are committed to protecting your private information. Any information
you provide that can identify you is used only in accordance with this policy.
We may update this page from time to time, so please check back periodically to stay up to
date with any changes. This policy was last updated in December 2025.
- - Name and address
- - Contact information, including phone number and email address
- - Postcode
- - Device and repair details you provide
- - Information relevant to offers or surveys
- - Preferences and interests shown on our site
We use this information to provide you with a smooth customer experience and a service tailored to your needs, specifically for:
- - Processing and fulfilling your repair or order
- - Internal records
- - Improving our products and services
- - Promotional emails about new services, special offers or brand information, via the email address you have provided
- - Contacting you for market research by email, phone or post
- - Customising the website to your preferences
When you provide us with your information in order to sign up for emails, complete a
transaction or place an order, you are providing consent for the collection of your
data and use of it for the reasons stated above.
Should we ever ask for personal information regarding a marketing campaign, we will
contact you directly so that you can provide consent or withdraw it entirely.
Withdrawing your consent. You can change your mind at any time and
withdraw your consent to the collection, use or disclosure of your information, as well
as our ability to contact you. To do so, contact us directly at
info@iwatchrepair.co.uk.
We use cookies to help protect your personal information and to improve your experience.
We follow industry best practice to ensure your data cannot be accessed, disclosed,
misused, altered, destroyed or lost.
The types of cookies we use, so that you can choose whether to opt out:
Essential cookies — a session cookie that keeps you signed in to
your session (including the contents of your booking or cart) while you browse, and
a security (CSRF) token that protects forms you submit. These expire when your
session ends and the site cannot function without them.
Analytics cookies — third-party cookies (such as Google Analytics)
that help us understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are
visited and for how long. This information is aggregated and does not identify you
personally.
Advertising cookies — third-party cookies (such as Google Ads) used
to measure the effectiveness of our advertising.
You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings, though
blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the site from working.
We store the data you provide in our internal database, protected behind an encrypted
firewall. To prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we maintain a range of
electronic, physical and managerial procedures to safeguard the information we collect.
Payments. Card payments are processed by our third-party payment
provider, which is certified to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard
(PCI-DSS) as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council. iWatchRepair does not
store your full card details on our own systems. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the
safe and secure handling of card information by our store and its service providers.
iWatchRepair holds the right to disclose your personal information should you
violate our terms of service, or where we are required to do so by law.
Any third-party providers we work with will collect, use and disclose your information
only in order to perform the services they provide to us. Some third-party providers
have their own privacy policies governing how they use information, and we advise you
to read those policies to understand how your data will be handled. Certain providers
may be located in a different jurisdiction to us; if you proceed with a transaction,
your information may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that
provider operates. For example, if payment is processed through a US gateway, your data
may be subject to disclosure in that jurisdiction. Once you leave our site or are
redirected to a third-party website, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy
or our Terms of Service.
By using our site, you confirm that you are of the legal age of majority in your country of residence, or that you are the age of consent and have given consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.
iWatchRepair reserves the right to modify this policy at any time, and any changes take effect immediately upon being published on our site. This includes how we use your information, the circumstances in which we do so, and how we disclose it. Should we be acquired by or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to provide our services.
If you would like access to any information we hold about you, wish to register a complaint, or have any questions about this policy, please contact our Privacy Compliance Officer at info@iwatchrepair.co.uk, or write to us at iWatchRepair, 23 Whitechapel Road, London, E1 1DU..
The terms 'iWatchRepair', 'us', 'we' and 'our' refer to FixMyBrokenScreen.co.uk Ltd, the company operating iWatchRepair, whose registered office is 23 Whitechapel Road, London, E1 1DU.. The term 'you' refers to the user of our website and services. This Agreement applies from the date you submit your watch for repair and continues until we have repaired your watch or otherwise returned it and payment has been made.
- 1.1 We will make every effort to repair your watch, subject to the
availability of the required parts and to the terms of any applicable guarantee
or warranty. All work is carried out with reasonable care and skill.
- 1.2 We use high-quality compatible parts for each repair we complete.
- 1.3 We may need the passcode of your watch so that our team can test it
before and after the repair. If you choose not to provide it, we can still carry
out the repair, but we will be unable to perform a full functionality test until
you return to the store, which may delay the service if any adjustments are
required.
- 1.4 Any timeframe given for completion is an estimate and does not form an
obligation under this Agreement. We aim to return your watch as soon as
possible; however, certain repairs may take 3 or more working days to
complete.
- 1.5 We will notify you once your watch has been repaired and is on its way
back to you via tracked postage. If you use our walk-in service, you will be
notified when it is ready for collection.
- 1.6 If we are unable to complete the required service, or the service will
require further costs, we will notify you immediately by telephone and/or email.
If we find no fault with your watch, you may decline our revised estimate;
we will then return the watch to you unrepaired and reserve the right to
charge an inspection fee in line with our standard charges.
- 1.7 Using our services may void your manufacturer's warranty. If you wish to avoid this, we suggest taking the watch directly to the manufacturer. iWatchRepair has no liability should your manufacturer's warranty be voided.
2.2 You are responsible for backing up your watch's data (for example by keeping it paired and synced with your iPhone), for unpairing the watch and turning off Activation Lock before sending it to us, and for removing any straps, bands or accessories you wish to keep. iWatchRepair shall not be liable for any corruption, deletion, alteration or loss of data.
2.3 It is your responsibility to tell iWatchRepair the correct model and specification of your watch, its condition, and whether any modifications or previous repairs have been carried out on it. iWatchRepair may perform a check-in diagnosis to evaluate the watch's condition. If its condition is significantly different from what you described, you agree that additional charges may apply — iWatchRepair will inform you of these before proceeding.
2.4 Transporting your watch to iWatchRepair is your sole responsibility: should it arrive with further damage or be lost in transit, you bear the risk of loss. Any separate parts or accessories you choose to include are also sent at your own risk, and iWatchRepair will not be held responsible should they go missing before arriving with us. Please ensure your watch and any parts are securely wrapped and sealed so nothing goes missing in transit.
- 3.1 Any price quoted for the Repair Services is an indicative, non-binding
quote based on the information you provide (for example, the faults you
describe). It is therefore subject to a detailed inspection of your
watch.
- 3.2 On receipt of your watch, iWatchRepair will inspect it. If the
indicative price needs to change (for example, because we find extra faults), or
if you have already paid but we find that a different or additional repair is
necessary, we will contact you to ask whether you would like us to proceed at
the revised price. You will only be charged more if you agree. If you do not
agree, we will not carry out the Repair Services and will have no liability to
you other than to refund any payments already made in relation to the repair,
minus a £15 return postage and processing charge.
- 3.3 The total cost of repair is calculated in accordance with our standard
charges as published from time to time.
- 3.4 We are entitled to keep your watch until all charges payable have been
paid, and we may charge an additional fee for storage.
- 3.5 All prices include VAT. Prices quoted to business customers also include
VAT on all Repair Services.
- 3.6 At our discretion, we reserve the right to cancel a repair and issue you a full refund rather than carrying out or continuing the work. Where we do this, we will return your watch with its original faulty part refitted; if that part is no longer available, we will fit a similar part of the same type — which may itself be faulty or broken — so that the watch can be returned to you. Please note that refitting an already-broken part may leave it looking further damaged; this is unavoidable owing to the nature of removing and refitting a part that is already faulty, and we accept no liability for it. In these circumstances you are free to have the watch repaired by the manufacturer or another provider of your choice.
- 4.1 Any watch returned to you should be examined on receipt. If it arrives
damaged, unrepaired or with any additional faults, you must inform
iWatchRepair within 3 days of receipt. If you do not, iWatchRepair will
have no liability should the watch have arrived with a fault. This does not
affect your statutory rights or any other rights under these Terms.
- 4.2 All devices are returned via a tracked courier. This excludes Saturday and
Sunday delivery.
- 4.3 We work on a no-fix, no-fee policy: if we cannot repair your watch, you
do not pay for the repair. A £15 return postage and processing charge still
applies to return your watch to you. iWatchRepair cannot guarantee that
any particular watch is repairable and has no liability to you if we are
unable to repair it.
- 4.4 If your watch remains uncollected, or we are unable to return it because you have not responded to our messages or have not paid any outstanding charges, we will attempt to contact you using the details you provided. If it remains uncollected or unreturnable for 90 days after our first notice, we may dispose of or recycle it to recover our costs (including any storage charges under clause 3.4), and iWatchRepair will have no further liability to you in respect of it.
5.2 What is covered by the warranty:
(a) manufacturer defects in the parts we supplied as part of the original repair;
(b) faults in the workmanship of the repair we carried out;
(c) a re-occurrence of the original fault we repaired, within the warranty period.
5.3 The warranty is limited to the parts we supplied and the labour we carried out in the original repair. For example, if we fixed a camera fault and the replacement part later proves defective, we will gladly replace it at no cost — but a fault in an unrelated part, such as the power button, would not be covered.
5.4 The warranty period runs from the original date of repair. Warranty work does not extend or restart it. For example, if a warranty repair is completed 3 months after the initial repair, the warranty still ends on its original expiry date.
5.5 For postal warranty claims, postage is paid by the customer in both directions — sending the watch to us and the return delivery back to you.
5.6 Whether cracks, other physical damage or liquid damage are present is assessed from the condition of the watch at the time we inspect it, and our technician's assessment is final.
5.7 What the warranty does not cover:
(a) physical damage, however it occurs — any crack, bend, dent or breakage found on the watch is not covered, whatever the cause, whenever it happened and whether or not it was reported. This includes mishandling and accidental damage, and applies equally to internal damage that is not visible from the outside (for example a cracked display panel showing lines, dark patches or no image, even where the outer glass appears intact);
(b) water or any other liquid damage;
(c) damage or faults resulting from an attempted repair by the customer or any third party, at any time. Should your watch be repaired by a third party following our service, this warranty becomes void;
(d) software issues unrelated to the repair, or any damage resulting from viruses or other malicious software;
(e) any jailbroken or "rooted" device;
(f) water resistance — iWatchRepair cannot guarantee that a watch will remain water-resistant following a repair;
(g) new damage or faults unrelated to the original service;
(h) any loss of data that occurs as a result of the repair. Please back up your watch before sending it to us. We accept no liability for data that is deleted, lost, corrupted or altered during the repair, and you accept full responsibility for backing up your data;
(i) faults on any watch we could not confirm as fully operational before the repair — for example a watch that was uncharged, passcode-locked or otherwise inaccessible (including because of a cracked screen) — where the fault could not be verified beforehand.
5.8 The warranty is linked to the specific watch repaired — identified by a unique IMEI or serial number — and to the original customer recorded on our system. It is not transferable to another device, nor if the watch is sold or given to another person.
5.9 iWatchRepair may install warranty seals after a repair is completed. Any tampering with these seals will void the iWatchRepair warranty.
5.10 Making a warranty claim. To make any warranty claim, you must contact us and return the watch to us so that we can inspect it. We are unable to assess, repair, replace or refund without first receiving and inspecting the watch. No refund, replacement or other remedy will be provided on the basis of a description, photographs or video alone, or while the watch remains in your possession or with a third party. Where a claim is valid, the remedy is at our option in line with clause 6.1, and we must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect and, if appropriate, repair or replace the watch before any refund is considered.
5.11 At our discretion, we reserve the right to cancel a repair and issue you a full refund rather than carrying out or continuing the work.
- 6.1 Our entire liability in respect of any cause of action arising out of or in
connection with this Agreement (including breach of contract, negligence,
statute, or otherwise) shall, to the extent the cause of action relates to our
supply of the service and at our option, be limited to: (a) supplying the
Services again; (b) paying the cost of having the Services performed again; or
(c) repaying any amount paid for the Services.
- 6.2 If your watch is damaged beyond economical repair as a direct result
of a repair carried out by iWatchRepair, and you have paid for that repair,
you are entitled to a fully functioning refurbished device of equal value,
matched to the model of your watch and the condition it was received in,
with the original repair issue resolved.
- 6.3 Any data on your watch remains your responsibility. We accept no
liability for the loss or corruption of this data however caused, and strongly
recommend you back up your watch before using our services.
- 6.4 Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for: (a) death or personal
injury caused by our negligence; (b) breach of any term implied by statute;
(c) any claim under the Consumer Protection Act 1987; or (d) fraudulent
misrepresentation.
- 6.5 In no circumstances shall we be liable for any indirect, special or
consequential loss arising out of or in connection with this Agreement,
including any loss of revenue, profits, business, anticipated savings or other
indirect loss.
- 6.6 We do not accept responsibility for any progression of damage where your
watch has been repaired elsewhere prior to its repair at iWatchRepair.
This applies to any issues not evident on initial inspection; should any become
apparent during inspection, you will be contacted directly by telephone and/or
email.
- 6.7 We do not accept responsibility for any progression of damage to a
liquid-damaged watch. Opening such a watch has the potential to cause
further damage, which may be serious and in some cases irreparable.
- 6.8 In the unlikely event of a defect with the Repair Services that is covered
by the warranty, please: (a) contact iWatchRepair as soon as possible after
becoming aware of it; (b) give us a reasonable opportunity to repair or replace
the defective part; and (c) allow us to make every effort to fix the defect
within 14 days.
- 6.9 If you are a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to Repair Services not carried out with reasonable skill and care, or where the materials used are faulty or not as described. Advice is available from your local Citizens Advice Bureau or Trading Standards office. Nothing in these Terms affects those legal rights.
- 7.1 The content of this website is for your general information and use only and
is subject to change without notice.
- 7.2 Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty as to the accuracy,
performance, completeness, timeliness or suitability of the information and
materials on this website for any purpose. You acknowledge that such information
may contain inaccuracies or errors, for which we exclude liability to the
fullest extent permitted by law.
- 7.3 Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your
own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It is your responsibility to ensure
that any services, products or information available through this site meet your
requirements.
- 7.4 This website contains material owned by or licensed to iWatchRepair,
including the layout, design, look, graphics and appearance. Reproduction is
prohibited other than in accordance with the copyright notice forming part of
these terms.
- 7.5 All trademarks reproduced on this website that are not the property of, or
licensed to, us are acknowledged.
- 7.6 Any unauthorised use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence.
- 8.1 We shall not be liable for any delay in or failure to perform our
obligations under this Agreement arising for any reason beyond our
control.
- 8.2 This Agreement, and any dispute arising out of the use of our website or services, is governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
Use of our repair service may void your manufacturer's warranty.
Any data stored on your watch remains your responsibility. We accept no liability
for any loss or corruption of such data, however caused, so please back it up before
your repair.
We take no responsibility for any progression of damage to a liquid-damaged watch.
Although unlikely, opening it may cause further damage that can be serious and, in some
cases, irreparable.
We take no responsibility for any progression of damage where your watch has been
repaired elsewhere prior to its repair with us. If we find any further damage, you will
be contacted immediately by telephone and/or email.
We always aim to meet the quoted turnaround, but in some circumstances beyond our
control this cannot be guaranteed. Our quoted repair time starts once a technician has
begun the repair.
